Last.fm is a music community website of UK founded in 2002. It is also used as an internet radio. Last.fm builds a detailed profile of each user's musical taste by recording details of all the songs the user listens to, either on the streamed radio stations or on the user's computer or portable music device. Last fm is world largest social music platform with 20 million users from more than 232 countries. The Last.fm website offers many features including one where they can play songs of the artist which matches the music taste of users.

Last.fm use a recommendation system known as audioscrobbler. The information is transferred to Last.fm’s database via plugin installed into users music player. User have to register in order to get a profile on Last.fm. User can even play track which is on the Last.fm but they canot demand for a song or download it .
